Frequently Asked Questions
The in's and out's of how we do business.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

When an insurance claim exists (or when a claim needs to be filed), insurance claim pricing prevails and the Insurance Company initial paperwork (called Estimates) become the initial cost basis. Signed contracts are based on Estimates & grant Supplemental authority, communications, & negotiation rights to Rapha.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Rapha's process begins with a free inspection. When an insurance claim exists, Rapha needs the claim emailed to us to begin analysis; but, roof inspection is still needed to confirm accuracy of insurance Estimate. Upon contract signing, Rapha collects customer Deductible in-full along with customer's first insurance check. This check is typically called ACV (Actual Cost Value). Rapha contract confirms shingle color & type. Rapha typically orders shingles, schedules supplies delivery, & schedules roof install contingent on weather reports.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

With 45 years of General Contracting experience, including roofing, Rapha Roofing Services LLC was formally established in 2021 in order to simply focus on roofing. Rapha reps are HAAG engineering certified along with being Texas State licensed, independent All-lines adjusters. We actually took one month off from roofing in October 2022 to work Hurricane Ian in order to be better teammates with homeowners and insurance companies in the process of restoring property integrity to pre-storm conditions. We maintain our adjusting licenses with continuing education hours; and, we consult with other licensed adjusters on resolving insurance claims, Xactimate software issues, and the Texas Department of Insurance on existing laws and potential legislation affecting the construction industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Rapha Roofing Services was started with one goal: To provide the highest level of quality, service, and value in residential roofing services!
Our experienced team offers over 45 years of experience in roofing. We provide simple, reliable, professional service at competitive rates in Central Texas focusing on the greater Fort Hood area primarily.
Rapha is in the structural integrity business, of course; but, we feel like Rapha's artwork is on display. We are proficient in areas where many providers are failing. Professionalism, communication, & workmanship guide our ship.
As a small family owned and operated business, we are able to focus on the details, build trust, & establish interpersonal connections that matter most to our clients. We seek to earn your business with each & every communication!

What types of customers have you worked with?

Homeowners are our focus. We specialize in offering impeccable residential roofing services to those in need of consistent and reliable professionals. We offer skilled insurance claim experience, market-driven pricing when insurance claims don't exist, and we stand by our service workmanship guarantee!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Phrases like: "You're in good hands." and "Like a good neighbor" conflict with customer & business experiences shared with us. In recent times, Rapha has defeated Goliaths of the insurance world, winning 100% coverage for homeowners & ourselves in restoring property to pre-storm conditions. Winning against these bullies is not always quick & it's never easy. Use a roofer that won't settle or quit until your property is restored. Holding an M.B.A. degree, a graduate banking degree from S.M.U., developing & operating other successful ventures allows Rapha's owner audience & respect with insurance company executives.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Customers need a roofing professional & we recommend:
1. Don't get pressured by salesmen right after a hail storm.
2. Speak to the owner & seek Peace that passes Understanding.
3. Don't waste time with salesmen, secretaries, or errand boys.
4. Get references.
5. Ensure apples-to-apples comparisons.
6. Don't re-install 3-Tab shingles. Upgrade to laminated shingles.
7. Choose the highest quality, service, & value.
8. Pay your Deductible. Don't spend 6 months in jail & pay $2,000 fines.
9. Owner interview should give you peace of The Spirit.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Things to consider before choosing a roofer:
1. Will I follow law & pay my Deductible; or, will I commit insurance fraud?
2. Did I gain peace after my interview with the roofing company owner?
